OK the Forum's Main Event is almost here and, hopefully, there will be a really good turn-out.

The dates are Fri 24th to Sun 26th Sept

I'm pleased to let you know that Griff (Aprilia Performance) Wooley will be joining us for Friday night and Saturday. Bring your suspension setup questions and other Aprilia-related questions with you as the guru will be on hand.

The main thread is in the Rideouts & Events Forum : LINK

I have also put together an FAQ with vital info: FAQ LINK

Pete is organising the catering and has some threads to collect numbers for meals .... please sign up to help him with numbers - but if you make a late decision to come, then don't worry that you've not signed up in advance - we'll be glad to see you. So - come on, sign up ..... really looking forward to seeing everyone :smt003

I'm hoping to come down for Friday night and Saturday - will probably put some mirrors/indicators on the bike and ride down.

Sounds like fun - be good to meet some more Falconeers.

/bows - celebrity central.....

and glad you are coming ben - i have a cunning plan that you may well be able to help with.....

(Visions of that amphitheatre scene in life of brian...... I have a little job for you brian....)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Just ignore him Ben - he's not that scary ... unless he's approaching with a filled hypodermic or lengths of rubber tube.

Nice to hear you're planning to be there.

.... I'm now worried it's going to seem pretty chilly having begun to acclimatise to Spain .....

I was in Spain last week, and apart from a couple of HOT days, the weather turned sour at the end of the week. At the airport the staff reckoned it was the end of the summer...

Trying to get my sh*t together to come (straight from school again!) - all and sundry must promise to give me grief about my nigh on bald (mot 'advisory') rear tyre, or any propensity I have for wrapping myself in the fabric of my tent at the end on the convo on Friday night. Will try to sort out the tyre, but will probably plumb a new depth of basic-bike-maintenance shame (we won't mention cable ties ... Especially as I have a recycled front bracket now fitted).

The wind should swing round from the north for the w/e, so dry with nice clear days and nice clear frosty nights.

Looks as though I might not be there 'till Saturday .... just been on skype and spoken to the Mrs. She thought that as I was away on hols I'd cancelled going to Norfolk - and there are things she needs me to sort out at home.
Hopefully they can be done Friday night without eating in to Saturday.

.... sorry folks - I do want to get there - I've been looking forward to this for ages ...
