For this procedure, the angle of the cocktail stick would have to be modified subtly if carrying out this operation on a bike with the uprated oil filter and filter cap.

be really careful with adjusting the gear change linkage..... may I humbly suggest taking it off the bike and giving it a damn good clean and regrease first.....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

When they had a go at mine the other week, they were using a twigg sharpened at the end, mine was catching on something so he mentioned about having another go with the casing warmed up, which is mentioned earlier

It's not a twig! It's an Eco-friendly jet removal tool (EFJRT v1.1)

Must say that I've used many a bit of tree over the years to aide with mechanical jobs..
and not just sawdust in the gearbox of a Cortina...

i have had it all of. made a new bronze bush for the lever and a bronze thrust plate (instead of the sprung waster) shift is a LOT better but i would like less travel so i will try to get a spare drop link and mod it

Well that must be MartDude then ..... Sam is too busy knocking back the Jack, you write your own prescriptions and I'm just not organised enough.
... but Mart still thinks he's on the IOW at a festival (not Hanna's TT) - so nobody is going to believe a word of it .....

CLUTCH JET WARNING - DOWNGRADED TO CODE YELLOW
It seems that a well-known purveyor of chips (not Gabro or Harry Ramsden) has a stock of the 40 clutch jet at a price of €10.

The situation may not be as grave as first thought
Well done the Dr.
