Yeah...still working on that one, we're down there (Leics) the weekend before and don't usually do two weekends in a row! :smt011

Hope the party goes well on the 13th :smt006

I can also confirm what a difference teh K&N has made.

Firstly I fitted set of race cans from Carbon Can Co, which are basically two HUGE drainpipes, sound amazing at all speeds, but strangely not too loud at normal crusising. ( High Level brushed stainless they look a treat and are so light compared to OEM ones )

Slightly lumpy on tickover was cured by chip urgrade from guy on EBay ( selling from Germnay ); this cured the lumpiness and low speed tickover and also improved pickup, and topped off with K&N also from our friends on EBay, which finshed off the package nicley.

Not only does it sound great but it now goes like stink ( always legally of course ).

It's just due its 9000mile service, can anyone recommend anywhere in North East to get this done that has the required Aprilia gear. I have been put onto guy at thirsk but was hoping for somewehere a little closer to home ( Durham area ) . Tried M&S at Newcastle but it would have been cheaper to SELL the bike LOL

cheers,

Hi and welcome - good to hear you've already started the moding habit.

Hopefully one of our number that lives up your way can answer the dealer question.

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
