Just been on the Met Office website - tomorrow's prediction for Newark doesn't look too bad until about 3pm.

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ ... ather.html

Could get pretty wet going home - but that's not so bad as getting soaked on the way there.

Perhaps if we aimed to start meeting up a bit earlier - 11 or 11:30 rather than 12 then push off home at whatever time a glance at the sky dictates?

I'm still a probable .... keeping an eye on the weather ....

I'll be OK for 11/12, depending on the weather.

Having spent all day (glorious sunshine) playing with the PC, I hope it's going to be reasonable weather tomorrow!

No, no porkies being told today. I have to be in Basingstoke tomorrow evening for an early meeting on Monday am. Although I do think it's going to rain (heavily)and would probably wimp out anyway that's true enough!

my intention is to leave beccles at about 9, and grab a bite to eat at mcdog burgers on the gillingham round about - leave there about 0945

Not sure if danowat is still planning on heading along, but aim to pop into mcdogburgers at dereham for about 1030 for quick coffee and wee - hopefully dano will be there.

from there it is about an hour i reckon to newark......

then i just have to find the poxy place!

my mobile number is 07944 304159 for any others planning to be along that route

of course, if it is absolutely pissing it down - i will stay home and swear

Just as I thought I'd got my day planned. :smt009 :smt009
Superbikes on Eurosport 2 at 9am, watch race 1, get bike ready, second race on at 10:15, leave about 11:00 be there just before 12.
Then time for meet-up changed to 11:00, so might have to record it after all. Never mind, I'll be there just after 11.
Went down there late this afternoon and roads were great, the sun had dried em off perfect.
The forecast had been for sun and showers throughout today. but didn't really get any of the latter after mid mornin, so hope roads are as good tomorrow.
