Get your forks over to Gareth @ Reactive suspension Nr York and he will re-valve them and service them at the same time.

It was without doubt the best money I ever spent on my Falco. The state the original fork oil was in after just 9,000 miles was unbelievable!
If you like "feel" from your bikes then this is a mod well worth doing IMHO

Did indeed speak to him about this as i picked up on the thread a while ago but the bike is in Leics, i'm in Yorks so bit of a logistics nightmare so Tamworth is nearer
Funny i wander what people look like and how there 'profile pic/signature' reflects that, when i see yours it all looks a bit spooky and wonder if you walk around in a hooded trench coat scaring people!!....ah just thought about what mine is...eek!
...Crap ever have that feeling 'wish i' never have started this thread', no, just me then?

and I would not worry about getting his shiny wheels on - he is still waiting to fit his chip, airbox etc - and he has a selection to choose from!
and what credit rating?? LOL
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Practical mods? Come and have an anti corrosion treatment done at Griff's open day. £60 but will add double that onto the resale value of the bike each time you have it done, makes it easier to keep clean and keeps corrosion at bay for up to a year. Add a Shock Tube for another £27 and keep the spring and rod free from salt spray, oily dirt and stonechip damage on your shock indefinitely. Compliment those with a dose of tyre sealant for another £20, give the middle finger to punctures and un-noticed pressure loss!
You want more? I got more. Titanium. NOT BLING! This stuff does not rust. Ever. Replace the cheap grey tin/cheese alloy nuts and bolts Aprilia provide as standard with titanium. Weighs half the amount as well. Can't afford titanium? A4 (316 grade) stainless steel then. No weight saving, but cheaper and still with awesome resistance to corrosion.
