Hello there, My names Matt i'm another visitor from Cov Bikers.
I love bikes and heavy metal, that pretty much sums me up haha.
I've been advised i sign up because i want to buy an Aprilia (No D-Rider not a Falco) I'm well interested in a Mille, preferably a Mille R 2001-2003 model. So any advice on that matter will be much appreciated.
Other than that hello all i look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome O Kidd of Oddness !
Just to put you in the picture, the Ridersite in itself is not brand specific and is there for all biking people.
It has a number of sub forums that are forums in their own right the strongest being the Apriliaridersite and there's also a fairly strong Kawasaki following on here too .... given the bike you've just sold you'll find other enthusiasts.
In the ApriliaRidersite we are strongly dominated by Falcos but we do have some Tuono, Futura and Mille riders on here too - and given the strong similarity between them all, the knowledge you need will probably be here.
Anyway - you are most welcome ..... now we can start wok on Steph to get her over here too
As for Cov Bikers on here ... well there's you, me, Will, Dalemac, Booshlite (occasionally), and Barking Frog ... though not seen him on either forum for a while and Growler just joined too.

Hello there.
Do you know much about the bike? I'm being a bit picky with them to tell the truth. I've heard the reg year and model year aren't always the same, is it he model with the cheek pads or the one before. Is there any damage to the bike, has it been dropped at all?
Would the chap mind waiting a week for the cash as i've just lent the money i had for a bike to my parents so they could pay for a holiday and i shan't get it back till next tuesday.
Really appreciate you getting in touch. I am finding it really hard to find the bike i'm happy to part cash for.

I know the bike and the seller and would vouch for both.
I don't know owt about the versions.
I do know it has never been dropped, but has had some professional painting done because of laquer damage where stickers peeled.
I posted details a couple of years back but he changed his mind about selling at that stage. There were pics tho. https://www.ridersite.com/viewtopic.php?t=3784
He isn't desperate to sell, by which I mean I don't think tis advertised elsewhere so a week or so would make no difference.
I'll send you a phone number and suggest you ring him for any details.
