Well... we essentially did 20 track days in a rowherbacious wrote:any tips on places to visit etc?hornetrider wrote: I did the same in August - the Pyrenees are AMAZING! Good luck for the trip!
im not sure whether we should adopt a strategy of blasting along for a few hundred miles every few days between campsites and then ditching luggage and scratching around for a few days.. or go for the more constant tour and avoid any motorways etc as much as possible camping somewhere else every night..
might stay at the occasional hotel to wash my pants

The roads around the Pyrenees are nothing short of sensational, no exaggeration. New smooth tarmac, awesome corners, just amazing riding.
N623 south out of Santander down to Logrono then Pamplona.
Head from Pamplona east on the N240 to Sabaningo, then up over the Pyreness into France on the A136. Then East from Eaux-Bonnes to Vielha then Sort then La Seun- you MUST DO THIS ROAD!
I could bang on all night and you must find your own way - but if you do the above you will be blown away, guaranteed.
