Here's a pic of it fitted... need to tidy up the cables a bit but waiting for my number plate light to arrive before I tidy all the cabling up. Very impressed, I needed to drill a few additional holes but nothing difficult.

The only thing thats a bit iffy are the small nuts/bolts to hold the indicators on. They're not that good quality and so you really need a perfectly fitting hex key to be able to tighten them with any confidence!

Anyway I'll post up a pic when completely finished, but for now I'm well chuffed. I prefer a slightly chunkier tail, hence this over the previous tidy.

It isn't specific to the falco, but it is (I think) specific to a group of Aprilias.

I'm going to fit a number plate light so didn't want to move the plate flsh under tail. I'm going to adjust the angle etc once I've fitted the light, new indicators and heat shrinked the cables.

Overall I'm very impressed with this kit :)

i use the LED bulbs that are used to secure the number plate as bolts - looks nice :)

(as in clean and pure - the lights do work... even if i was winding andy up the other day by looking at some skull shaped ones....)

I have a 8" by 6" so just a little smaller but looks a lot better than the big one :)

IIRC its not the plate size thats the issue, its the size and spacing of the font

Motorcycles registered on or after 1st September 2001 must display a two-line number plate. Motorcycles registered before 1st September 2001 may display a three-line number plate.
One-line number plates are illegal, regardless of the date of registration.

Here are the character sizes:
Character Height
64 mm

Character Width (except the figure 1 or letter I)
44 mm

Character stroke
10 mm

Space between characters
10 mm

Space between groups
30 mm

Top, bottom, and side margins (minimum)
11 mm

Space between vertical lines
13 mm

hence why there is an actual mininum size of plate....

iirc there are limits of what else can feature on the plate - so oner of my old plates that said, "Aprilia Falco" on the bottom was actually illegal....

I believe that the size of the letters allowed is slightly smaller if you have the EU flash....

interestingly enough I seem to be allowed to have my stick on reflector stuck on the plate.....
