right - bollocks to it....

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Sat Feb 20, 2010 12:40 am

sitting here a few ales to the good and

I had a thought... so went for a tom tit and thought a bit more

i think we out to do our own MITM - that means Meet In The Middle for those that do not lurk on AF1

sort of thinking end of july time - find a campsite with local hostelry and pick a saturday night to meet up and talk bollocks etc...

but where would the middle be??

thinking around Derby may well be about the middle for most posters here?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'm up for that.

Nice roads, scenery, pubs etc around Ashbourne. Should I go & take a look at campsites, & research proximity to alehouses?

Think there's a race meeting at Darley Moor on 25th July, thats near Ashbourne.

If i'm not on holiday i'll be up for it.

Noooo ..... that's at Silverstone .....

2010 Season
  • Formula 1 - Silverstone
    MotoGP - Silverstone
    WSB - Silverstone
BSB - a number of locations but not at Donnington
None of the above can cope with the big dirt-track section that's now an integral part of what was once a fantastic circuit.
Let's just hope that it can be saved ..... but I'm not optimistic.

We need to get the , now annual, first meet of the year at the barge in Newark on the calander too.

Then there's the North Yorks ride out I promised last year and didn't get round to organising.

Roll on Spring/Summer cos I'm thoroughly F****d Off with this fowl weather.

Because Dave has mentioned it, how about Sunday 18th April for the Newark meet then?
