Good grief! a few months ago they fixed a puncture for me (in a tyre they hadn't supplied).
If I remember correctly, that cost me £15 (to a loose wheel).

I guess it's the politics of you having bought the tyre elsewhere.

I know James has fitted tyres for people that they've bought elsewhere - and I believe he has charged reasonably.

Hi Andy

Sorted the sidestand light today.

I was servicing the bike so I checked the sidestand lug first and that was a metal lug so no problems there. I then thought Bugger it I will leave it till its a little warmer but as I was pushing the bike I noticed a green and brown wire going into a large white connector just in front of the fuel tank. I thought thats a green wire !!! so i moved it around a little and hey presto light went off with sidestand up. :smt003

So cleaned it and all is well.

thanks everyone

Right the light appears to be working OK but I have another problem.

when demonstrating bike checks today I was going through the auto cut off with the sidestand. with the engine started in nutral, I put it into gear with the sidestand still down and nothing happened. The engine kept running. This dont seem right ???

I then turned off the engine and tried to start the bike with it in gear with the sidestand down and nothing ( as I expected ). This seems OK

what could be the problem. The lug is still OK as I checked that the other day.

Thanks in advance again Chaps
