Hi mate, about the levers, there's nothing in the pics to suggest they're not pucker, it's more something to check when you get there (mine broke when falling over in a low-speed spill). The only thing I've seen is the mushrooms - which might be nowt, they might even be 2nd hand, or that might just be how they look

Been thinking when i fit the Ohlins rear shock it's already gong to be longer giving me more rear ride height .......anyone know if it's still worth dropping the forks one ring as well or shall i just leave them standard ..... :smt017

Still looking for end cans if anyone knows any for sale ......but have to be carbon .....or at least black ......

Two days travelling and i should be back in sunny Uk ..........it is sunny isn't it .. :smt011

Hi Cornish Mivvi.
My Ohlins shock has the ride height adjusted to maximum. Standard fork settings for Showa and Marzocchi forks is 3 lines showing.
I have my Ohlins forks set to 4 lines showing (which is the standard setting for them when fitted to the Mille-R). Obviously they are different forks and I'm not 100% sure whether the markings are in equivalent paces to the showa or marzocchis but I guess they probably are as the Mille-R is likely to have a more "sporty" setup.

Anyway. these settings work for me.

What I'd say is stick the Ohlins in, see how you get on with it and raise the rear/drop the front bit by bit until you are happy.

was planning on doing that .....fit it in and see how it feels ........will probably try and drop them through at some point but like you said ride it before anything else .......

Do you think the Ohlins forks are worth it as i was thinking of just re-valving the front end ............for my slim and ever growing 14 and half stone ....... instead of changing them... :smt017

Always good to hear advice so thanks for the input ........

Ohlins shock was worth every penny but although the forks are good, the standard Marzocchis were also good (and I hear the same of the showas) - the improvement wasn't immense.
Not a priority mod IMHO
