Swingarm Bearing removal
Has anyone tried this, I've got a RSV swinger I'd like to get powder coated but first I need to get the bearings out. The needle bearing looks the most complicated, it's probably something I'll have to get done at a garage with my lack of tools and even greater lack of ability……. but I thought it was worth a shout out first.
Cheers

Bearing Removal!
Hi all,
I bought a ryobi dremel set
Handy tool and some long punches out of machineMart, with the usual 4Ib hammer. I wouldn't trust a garage to do it, they are normally rough when it comes to things like this...
Controlled aggression is the key fella, after all you don't want to damage the housing do you. As for the bearing, new one's everytime, then off to powder coaters. Job done

I gave it to an air blast company and they did for me for a few quid. They done it while I waitedGregD-UK wrote: Make sure you sand the swingarm silky smooth, it took me 4 hours to rub down mine400, 800, and 1200 used...

Then went "Automotive Black" on the swingarm
Result was really smooth - now coved with mud shite and chain goop
