#16 Post by SLAB » Mon Nov 16, 2009 3:11 pm

Lol M8 YOUR ARE TELLING PORKYS
No ones acused you of trying to defraud me as the advert say falco or milli you have a falco so it will be the milli it fits and the advert said all bits may not be there. As for the plate was thrown in as it was on the side thinking you could put it to better useage than me as i havnt a motorcycle but doing favours just slaps you in the face with some people.
you have said your going to escalate it, Please do as am not happy also
Top tip m8 next time you buy somthing go in garage and make sure you know what bike you have or rode the night before.
I DONT THINK YOUR BEING FARE JUST PISSED OFF THAT YOUR PLAN OR DESIGN DIDNT WORK

I have escalated it to ebay
What?!! That's crazy !

... and how would you be defrauding them anyway in returning the goods for the return of your money - ignoring the fact that the rack appears to have been described incorrectly by the seller given that none of us seem to have seen a Givi rack for the Falco that looks like that.

How do they know it was posted here? .... is the seller one of our own?

Edit: Ah seems that the vendor has come out of the woodwork !

Bollox

Advert states:
Model/ Series: Falco, RS, MILLY
ie it suggests it fits them all - there is nothing in the listing that suggests you don't know which and that the buyer needs to be very wary. There is certainly nothing that says "falco or milli"

Incidentally, what is a "MILLY" or a "milli".... I guess you may mean the RSV Mille ... though don't forget the Falco is the SL Mille .....

I don't think that Aladinsaneuk has any doubt what bike he parked the night before ... a better top tip might be for you to check you know what you are selling ......

I'd be reporting this to ebay too!

I'm obviously not going to report this to ebay as I am not involved - but I did say I'd be reporting it too - I think most would realise that in this context it clearly means that were this to have happened to me I would have gone through the ebay resolution channels to report this as not as described in the listing.
.... and if you bother to look back to the beginning of the thread you'll find it wasn't me that posted up that this was for sale.

.... don't seem to remember swearing at you either ...

Scoll up drider the word you used was BOlLOXS if I am correct. Also winding your buddy up dosnt help the situation now dose it,
Annie was told it was of a aprilia mille etc, so after me saying get it on ebay it will get snatched up and it did, shes not out to rip anyone more upset that she tried to do a good thing, she was going to bin it as the advert says and wished She had. I will have a word tonight.
Aladinsaneuk Annie lost her husband 4 months ago and carnt cope with the hassel so if ok would you deal with me please

Chill out peeps, we seem to have a string of misunderstandings after some ambiguous wording on both sides. :smt001

Yes - but that was not swearing AT you that was just describing what was written. If the word offends, then sorry - please substitute "rubbish" or something else.

I don't know who Annie is and I'm not suggesting that she or anyone else was out to rip anyone else off.
That doesn't alter the fact that someone bought something in good faith that turned out to be not as described. I've not suggested that was a deliberate attempt to mislead. Normally both sides would agree that it was not what the buyer had expected and it would be resolved amicably.
The info we had was that the return had been accepted and then refused - the logical path is then to get ebay to resolve - within their procedure the grounds for which would be that it was not as described ... and that's what I would have done in the situation as it's what ebay expect you to do if you've already tried to resolve it amicably.

Nobody is wishing to upset Annie - certainly not me.

I am not wanting to upset anyone either

It seems that this has been resolved

- and hat off to Slab - and I had just typed some rude words but the man has been a gent

will keep people posted

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
