The quality of a respray will never match the original either a few bikes look any better when done. I do like the metallic red of mine and will probably keep it that way; it's certainly the best option financially. But I did get the bike cheaper than I thought I would and there's a budget for playing aboot with it
If I put a carbon front mudguard on, what colour for the lower fairings and the belly pan? I'm just fishing for ideas. At present they are both black, which would work OK, but I do like carbon. Does anyone do a carbon belly pan?
Plenty of choice of carbon mudguard. The (non radial braked) mille ones fit - I've an aftermarket one for an 04 mille/RSVR fitted to mine.
I believe ones for the RS250 fit too.
Nooj sorted out a carbon bellypan based on the Skidmarx shape. This thread tells the story and the last few posts tell you how much it costs (please sit down before you read that bit) and where to get one from.

I have also kept my stock parts - apart from the standard exhausts.... i used them on project trike!
I will pick up a spare set one day - they occassionally surface on evil bay for 20 quid a pair - plus 20 quid postage!
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Don't think enough people were interested to justify a multiple order from the site and hence a decent price. I was one of the people who had a black colour matched version and was happy with it.
Sorry I can't be any more help Reg.

Don't think Nooj actually bought one himself - wonder how many have actually been sold.
I'm betting the company that put the work in is a bit miffed TBH
