Ridersite Norfolk Weekend, 2009 - The Pictures

#1 Post by D-Rider » Mon Sep 07, 2009 10:53 pm

Here are the pictures I took .... if anyone else has any others they would like to share, then please add them too.

Friday Evening .... Pete (Aladinsaneuk) dropped in with some nice but unfortunate young lady he met on the way - she and her SV were lost and he convinced her that he'd help her find her way .... and brought her to a barn at the back-end-of-beyond. Hope she managed to make her escape on the way home ....

Clockwise from the left:
Tim (Kwackerz) trying to demonstrate the benefits of camo .... though we can still see him here, Biker Gran, Shebee, Pete's SV riding friend (sorry ... name memory failure), Pete .... surprisingly wearing a halo, Keith (HisNibbs).

Image

Saturday morning:
The Barn .... and you may notice that in the foreground, just in front of BG's trike, is k1w1boy's "nest". I think it was sold as a tent but k1w1boy decided to dispense with convention and just curl up inside the various component parts.

Image

From left to right:
k1w1boy, Keith, Tim with camo .... still having no success in concealing himself, Andy, Shebee

Image

Views around the barn:
.... and Tim is still presenting himself as a viable target .... despite the camo ....

Image

More views around the barn:
.... and would you believe it, Tim's only gone and done it ! Can anyone spot him?

Image

Falcos, a trike, a van, some tents ..... and k1w1boy's nest

Image

Phil_h's Falco plus a couple of local Triumphs .... along with Gio making one of those brief but pertinent points for which he is famed. Again, Tim really is getting this concealment down to a fine art.

Image

TC, Tim .... nope - a good try but we can see you, Sam (having a brief moment off from slaving away to look after us all) and BG

Image

K1w1boy's Falco with custom lowered fairing assembly plus ultra-bling cable-tie accessories. Anticlockwise from the right: K1w1boy, Phil_h, and one of the Triumph riders (sorry again for name-memory failure)

Image

Gio led our ride-out .... maybe not the longest ride but to a great destination at a pub overlooking the Broads that served the most wonderful fish and chips.
Unfortunately I didn't take my camera - I hope someone else has some pics to post as it was a really nice spot.

Nice to see I am maintaing my standards!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Hasn't the young lady been in RiDE magazine recently with a couple of articles?

Not me! Long time since I had an article in a mag and that was about the Round britain Rally!

I have pics but not got them online yet - got to go and watch 'Coast' now!

I love Samray's beard!

(in a very non-gay way of course)
