Allow me to post a 'hello' on behalf of Mrs 'monkey. She has owned an 02 Fut for a month, loves it, dropped it yesterday though

..............not much damage...anyone got a left hand mirror in red?

Anyway, good to see that we've found the relaxed world of Aprilia touring a home on the forum ...... just got to wait for the Capo boys and girls to demand parity .....

When's Mrs Monkey going to join up in her own right?
She's obviously in the same club as me - I wrote off my first Futura after a month.

Re mirrors - if you can't re-attach it, or find a replacement, some owners have replaced theirs with GSXR ones - see here :

Hush agent Aladin ..... more careless talk and they'll discover the transportation vortex we've opened up over there ..... (though once captured, we'll still allow them visiting rights back "home" ... hell we even visit ourselves)

Mrs Monkey is currently struggling to come up with a catchy user name

, once that hurdle has been overcome I am sure she will launch herself into the Fut Futs .

As for her make-up application accessory, I think we can rebuild it, seems that the central securing bolt has snapped and the threads securing it to the fairing have been ripped of, so araldite may do the trick. If that fails I will have a look at the gixxer route, thanks for the heads up!

If only she had bought a Falco

Been thinking about a futura for a while. Cash says no though

Am i allowed to like them being at my tender age

Never sell the falco though - would have to have two bikes

There's some good Futura buys about at the moment on MCN & Bike Trader. Also, RobC and SparkySpark on the AF1 Futura forum are selling their Futs. How much would you spend, if you could?

If i had two and a half grand - i'd buy one.
But all I have is twenty quid and a mars bar.
Not enough me thinks - saving for a car (might become one of those fair weather riders!
