Bike looks nice .... glad you're already missing the Falco a bit though
You are welcome to stick around on the forum - remember the main Ridersite's not brand-specific anyway - and we'll let you sneak in the Aprilia bit too.
Cheers

Looks nice. I test rode a 1200 one a while back and was well impressed but it was too small physically for me or I would have had one.
Course I have a Falco now and can never imagine returning to IL4s

Been there, done that, sort of. Went from Falco to Futura to CB1300. The CB1300 was great but I just ot bored with it. My wife bought me a Falco in need of some tlc as a second bike and the Honda was hardly ridden again until I sold it. Now I have a Triumph Triple as my other bike, which is the perfect compromise. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new bike. Its a good one.

I started riding in the 1970s so I have a soft spot for that style of bike. Yours looks great. Enjoy!

Glasgow chap...did you perchance buy said wheels from Avuss, Paisley...they have a green tractor just like that one
Enjoy the new wheels, ride safe.
always quite fancied one of them myself

Some 'retro' you've got there, mate.

I was very close to buying one, loved the small fairing. I could not decide if to get the Kawi or this:

and that's how my Falco evolved to something similar!
With bigger bollox, though!

bought it from a private seller in Bishop Auckland.
Ive already started tinkering...new lower renthals, bigger rear sprocket and a zxr750 rear wheel, gets the girly 170 tyre upto a more respectable 180

ZZR1100 cams and dynojet kit not too far away..gets it upto around 130bhp ... carburetors ... what are they ???

Has Pierre started trading in bikes rather than just storing large numbers of them?

Hi all,
I know the guy you bought it off! He kept it very, very clean and didn't ride hard on it, clean bike. Enjoy all that you do with it fella......
BUT, it still isn't a falco

My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

the guy i bought it from, colin, only had it for 2 months. he bought it from his boss who done less than 100 miles on it in 2 years .. just lay in his garage ... seemingly he had loads of different bikes.

I was reading through the thread and I thought I was offensive with my 'bigger bollocks' comment in my previous post. Seems I was right after all. Sorry to hear you did not like the green machine, hope you get to ride your new Falco soon!
