clutch lever

replacing my levers....

how do you get the screw off the plunger (pushes on the cylinder). tried on both bikes levers and they ain't coming off!!!!!

now i thinking does it come off ?

i know unscrew it!!! tried that!!

need the plunger, screw and barrel for new lever. can't buy seperate or can you??
if you can't ride it....
OR take it too bed...

mine was tight to when i changed my levers, in the end i gripped the push rod with a rag round it in the vice and turned the old lever nice and steady.but i can't remember which way i went. :smt017

There's a small grub screw that comes in through the bottom of the brass barrel (that the plunger screws into), undo that and you're away, the plunger unscrews easily

screw too tight and now broke that one!!! had it soaked in oil too aid loosen but alas it's gone.

you can't buy them and i aint paying for a new lever when it'll never be used. i just want them little parts :smt013

I managed to buy some small grub screws from a model boat shop when I turned the head out of the one I was trying to remove (I got a new barrel & plunger with a new lever, but the grub screw was missing)

Sorry, probably doesn't help you much if the screw is firmly fixed in place

the plunge part has snapped. i now have the little threaded barrel which i need, 2 parted plunger !!!!

see a place tomorrow and it will probably sort me out
if you can't ride it....

looking for the plunge rod if any spare ??????

not paying for a full lever (£80) when all i need is that little part.

tried a few places and no joy, only option is too make my own one.
if you can't ride it....
