upper R&G crash bungs

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Fri Apr 24, 2009 9:45 am

has anyone got these fitted to their falco?
If so can you send/post some images of how they are fitted - especially the nearside as that may have problems with the fairing mounts....

I bought a set of spare panels last night and they are drilled ready for the upper crash bungs - so am thinking of fitting them

(Or can i just move my lower crash bungs up?)

I do not mind buying another set of crash bungs but if anyone knows of a cheap outlet then i would be thankful !

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Are they proper falco ones? ie: comes with extended oil pipe and "h" shaped alloy brackets for both sides@? Mine didnt come with any instructions but would only fit 1 way?

yip that oil pipe is a 1 way fit, it sits behind the bung and frame, it is quite neat.

Right side, just incase :smt001 Different bracket to avoid waterhoses, the bobbins dont line up when you sit on bike, but thats the only time you notice

My homemade hugger :smt003 Took about 3million hours to make a crap quality part you can buy for £50 :smt011 PICTUREWHORE!

my thanks

I cannot just move my lower ones :(

ok - I will either buy some correct crash bungs or... well plan B is a secret for now

(And plan b is far more likely - the reason is i have some marks on the right side panel that annoy me.... be afraid all, mr dremel is in the building....)
