Used the Redex one in the MGF a few weeks ago and it did seem to improve the pick up and smooth out part-throttle village bimbling.

IMHO its all in the mind

That is any improvement you may feel after using any brand of injector cleaner.

I'm sure used regularly over 000's of miles it would help to keep the injectors in good condition, but just using a bottle or so can't really make much of an improvement.

The only way to clean injectors properly is by using ultrasound techniques. These are very effective but costly and I'm told mainly used on high milegae trucks and the like.

Its also worth bearing in mind also that all modern fuels contain lots of cleaning additives for just this purpose.

I have tried various ones myself (injector cleaners) over many years but hand on heart I couldn't notice any improvement either on the bike or in the car. Just my humble opinion of course.

That's the sort of answer I like.

Full and informative and best of all..... I don't need to spend any money following F9's advice.

i agree with F9 , if your bike is running rough its probibly bad fuel or bad setup , amd a good blast usually cleans out the injectors

On petrol engines, I haven’t noticed a difference as I just did the bike but won’t really know until I’ve done a few miles. Lacquer can build up which will reduce the fuel flow. However, on the diesel car it made a vast difference.
If you have to rev it, Dont buy it.

So, as a fellow diesel car owner, what injector cleaner did you use?
