The 1997's were prefacelift (1998 R) and as such dont hold much value. Anything post 1997 tends to be worth more

Yup, Auto available

Well you lot are useless for advice!

The test drive of the Mondeo was a total disaster! The car broke down - and from the amount of oil coming out, I reckon it was terminal! The salesman had to go and get another car to get us home!

Hang on a minute there .... I don't remember anyone saying that all used Fords are wonderful irrespective of the way they've been used, maintained or 101 other factors that may have affected them.

At least that's 1 less on the used car market to consider further.

Hm, online reviews reckon parts are more expensive for the Almera than they are for the Primera - anyone had a Primera?

Is that the Almera Tino and the new Primera??

The Almeras that Sheebs and I are on about share the same engine parts as the Primera of the same vintage

Rest of it, It cost me 45 quid about 10 years ago for a rear light unit brand new from a stealership (I reversed into myself.. dont ask...)
Havent needed to fix anything else

nissan parts do tend to be a bit pricey but then again you do'nt tend to need many.as with all jap motors.

Congrats BG. How much did it set you back in the end? SLX is the higher spec one. Very nice! Did you get leather?
