It is not too bad dirt wise. I have had it on for almost a year now. Most of the dirt is on the plate and it wipes off easy. I have cleaned the filter once and re-oiled it just for the sake of cleaning it. As for the sound...Awesome is all I can say.
Powerwise, it is up to 124bhp but that is with some other mods. Currently I am using a FP13/14 chip but I thought it had more punch in the midrange when I was using a renegade chip so next season I will be swapping it over.

I guess the make is ITG, but where did you get it from and what type/model is it? I presume it has some internal support to stop it collapsing in use?

Am I right in assuming Pierre has done away with the Falco air ducts in the frame and just let the air sort itself out, while Paddy has retained the ducting etc?

Top work, fellas.

Yes it does have internal supports and to make it fit you have to cut a slot out of the base (some of the lip) to accomodate the TPS sensor. ALso you will need some draft excluder around the base. Being the fussy get that I am, I double layered it.
The air ducts are still in place but I removed the collector box as I got my mesurement wrong and the hole does not line up correctly. A MK2 will be on the way it I get the correct material.

Here is the Place I ordered mine from

Here are the tech specs. You want the JC 20/100

Ohh you cleaned it you naughty man :smt018 I will have a look at the chip etc this weekend as all the plastic will be off the bike as will also the fuel tank.

I'll take pics of the installation, but the best place I found for the cam is just below the sidepanel cut out as it also gives aview of the front wheel and its antics :smt003 .

The only thing I've not decided on is the position of the mic, I'd ideally like to hear just induction noise as it'll marry up nicely with the view of wheel/sky/scenery etc lol

This is sounding better and better. I got a Rene +10 chip off eBay last week for the princely sum of £6.55 inc postage, so this all seems to be going in the right direction...

I'm thinking of using Tufnol as the material for the baseplate; apparently a guy on the AF1 forum used that stuff with good results. That ITG filter looks absolutely perfect. I'd definitely do as you've done and seal the base with draught excluder or similar. The filter has to do its job, after all.

You may be getting PMs from me once I get started... :smt003

I notice you say you've got 124bhp from yours - what other mods have you done? I'm just comparing online prices for Tufnol, and DirectPlastics seem to have the market pretty much covered. As they're based in Sheffield I might pop round and see what they've got. Having quickly measured up the under-tank area, a piece 300 x 400 x 10mm should easily cover it, I think.

Is there any particular grade of Tufnol I should be using? I was thinking of the general purpose 1P/13 grade. I guess the main thing is it must be high temperature-resistant.

I've only just got round to listening to your before/after. That's a very worthwhile difference - from asthmatic to deep and throaty! Unfortunately mine are the later black-finished style of boat anchor and de-coring them would make them sound much better but would still do nothing for the aesthetics...

Love the numberplate slogan... :smt003

I had the same exhausts (black) so i brought a set off ebay for the mods to take place. Still got the black set for MOT time.

Funny that....I like the slogan too :smt002
