Thats cos you're not looking at it from a business perspective! Both Harley and MV are "aspirational brands" ie names that allow you to sell bikes for more than you would ever get for them with (say) a Chinese name like Songyang. Big profit matgins. High customer loyalty. Lots of extras like clothes.HowardQ wrote:Looks like Harley forgot it.
Almost as strange having Harley buy them out, but they always did say opposites attract, and you can't get much more opposite than Harley and MV.
So Harley buy MV, put some serious money into production facilities. Probably also into racing. And before you know it, there is someone taking over Ducati's spot in sports bikes. In effect, thats what Texas Pacific did with Ducati. Makes a lot of sense ( or money if you want)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
Fucking biggots get everywhere don't they :( This site's just gone way down in my estimation.
