Theyve just announced the firework 'footprints' were fake..

..There was no 'Made in China' on the bottom for starters...

So am I the only one enjoying it ?

It has been the only event that every 4 years shows on TV some of the minority sports that I have enjoyed doing. Was even better while I was still doing those things but still enjoy watching.

Roll on 2012 - there are a couple of lads I know (friends of my son) that will probably be competing - one in the clay pigeon shooting and one in the fencing (and I don't mean the erection of walls or the handling of stolen goods).

there is one sport that I think makes the olympics worth watching

Womens beach volleyball

I am so interested in it I went to the local job shop and asked if I could apply to be the official waxer for 2012

there was a remarkable stunned silence, before the chaps working there started laughing.... I had to do it, just in case such a post exists

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

You're in the wrong country mate, beach volley ball is almost a national sport in brasil, good viewing, live obviously. :smt003

Clay Pigeon Shooting....?

Woo Hoo - I'd better start saving for a telly in time for 2012 then :smt009

Although if they ignored the Clay bit it would be the perfect sport for London.
