Hi Joecrx,
Just put some Beowulf Warriors on mine, they sound great ( so my mates tell me ).
Fully road legal with removable baffles, all stainless materials and a lifetime guarantee.
Go on their website and look at the shape, they are a very similar profile to the Falco frame tubes.
When I bought them they were £350 plus delivery, so I thought they were very reasonable.

Hope this helps

Yes you need the link pipes, but be careful when I ordered mine they sent RSVR link pipes, which are a bigger bore.
Make sure you state SL1000 Falco.

Hi everyone,

Another newbie here - due to pick up my 2005 Falco (in funky Anthracite/Dark Red, it says here) next weekend. I like Red and Black in equal measures, so it seemed an obvious choice. Plus the black frame looks very classy, I think.

It's got 8000 miles on it and a pair of (I believe) Revs Performance GForce carbon cans on it, as well as the OE cans. Has anyone had any experience of these?

Everything else is completely standard, so plenty of opportunity for fiddling/modding... The first thing I want to get fixed is the sidestand; I'm leaning (no pun intended) towards the VTR/GSXR option here, but I'm not sure what model GSXR stands fit and what extra mods are required to make them fit - any ideas, anyone?

I'm also looking out for a shock and wonder if anyone has any experience with Technoflex products. They're Dutch I believe. Any other suggestions gratefully received.

I've spent a couple of days looking round this site and it looks a brilliant place and hugely helpful. Probably cause some huge expense as well, but hey...

Hi Mangochutney - and welcome.

Enjoy your new Flamingo Red (I kid you not) Falco.

Never heard of those aftermarket cans ... but plenty of experience of the OEM "boat anchors".

Also no experience of a Technoflex shock and don't think I've heard of one on a Falco - but I think they have a fairly good reputation.

Anyway, enjoy your new bike.

Hi Howard,

Feel a bit of a sham at the moment as I don't actually have it, but going to collect it next weekend :smt004

Seems to be a few local(ish) owners; Sheffy, Chesterfield, Mansfield...

Is there any clear preference for VTR vs. GSXR sidestands as an upgrade? That's the first thing I'll be looking to do.
