ever had one of those days

#1 Post by k1w1boy » Thu Jul 03, 2008 8:59 pm

13 hours at work, onother 2 in the gym and I stopped at my offie to get a few tinnies, parked in the same spot, tired sure but still functional, I paddled the fully fueled heavy bitch, doing my two point swivel to face the right way and backed straight into a lamp post - pop goes half of my tail light lense.. roared my chagrin in my helmet, went home and drank a beer. The end. :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

good job it was one of those rare red ones - trying to replace a black lens would be hard...

(And sorry m8)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

How about this: long awaited holiday, my mother in law invited for a trip around the UK as a thank you for all the help with my Polish business, me and my wife great plans as well (Oxford, Cambridge, London etc).

She arives from Poland, my disc slips. I lay in bed since Monday, cannot sit for longer than 5 minutes without screaming in agony. Stuffed with codeine, tramadol, myolastan, well, you name it. She is stuck at home, not impressed. my wife either. Still in severe pain. I mean severe. 8/10 constant on the medication. Ostheopath etc.

Funnily this is my last holiday in a few years - I'm on a contract now, will be self employed after moving back to PL. And due to the situation at work I cannot take even one day off sick or I'll be fired straight away.

Have been here in the UK for three years, not seen anything apart from Medway.

Feel any better now? :smt003

Sorry to piss on you fireworks. :smt005

I've got a spare rear light if you want it. Red lens, no LEDs or anything flash, just a bog standard unit. You can have it for a tenner.

Had to get my old (non running) 400/4 out of the garage a while back.
Brakes dragging a lot - so hard to push - but sitting on it pushing backwards ..... straight into a tree. Smashed tail light.

Doh !

Hope you get yours fixed up quickly k1w1boy.

K1w1boy, just a thought. Perhaps it is a sign that the time has come for a clear/smoked lense? Maybe it's possible to tape your one up while waiting for one to come up?

Good idea, clear and smoked rear lenses to tend to pop up very regularly! :smt005

But sorry too :smt009
