New Forum, New Rules .....

....no, didn't think I'd get away with that. :smt053

OK - off the top of my head ....

Today we are playing :

"Where have all the ARS members gone?"

As we don't actually know the answer to this, today's activity is to make up the stories as to what has happened to those people we've not seen for ages.

YD has already suggested that Lorenz has bunked off with a 6ft 18yr old italian bird .... so what's happened to the rest?
Please post your ideas for individuals or for what may have happened to the whole group.

.... Oh yes, and I accept no responsibility for libel or defamation of character .....

Well, perhaps their virtual selves got trapped inside the ARS site when Kwackerz shut the door (He really should be more careful) and now their faint, and growing fainter, cries for help have been overlooked by those of us who jumped ship, in our excitement at this shiny new world. :smt120
We need a volunteer. Someone brave enough to risk all and re-enter the ghost site on a perilous rescue mission to bring over.... THE MISSING !

Erm.... I'm rather tied up at the mo. Any volunteers ??

Only somebody of Moderator status would be worthy enough for such an important but dangerous mission.
Then again, D-Rider has no experience of the Dark Side.

Recon most are connected to their Optimate waiting for day light to return :smt002

Although my neighbor who works for TRRL has been working on a project to reliably check motorcycle speeds at any angle of attack, he hates bikes and he told me once he worked in microwave technology. :smt012

He has not been around much since Christmas his wife says he is testing equipment around the UK. Seems rather a coincidence considering the lost forum members. :smt017

Just a thought for a bit of future entertainment. Can anybody remember what bike the famous biking MP Lembit Optik rides these days. I know it's not a Falco but possibly a Harley or similar. He's stood up for us bikers well in the past, so perhaps we should reward him. Was thinking, if he does ride a Harley or some twin, we could club together and send him one of our "Real Men Ride Twins" Teashirts.
He may not have managed that yet, but it must have crossed his mind!
If he dared wear it out on the Town the press would have a field day, and think of the coverage for us, even if it was the old site! :smt003 :smt003
Could even make front page on the Sunday Sport or even possibly the Daily Mail.

Yeah - I'm still around. Just met Paddy again this weekend to hand on the throttle bodies that his missus doesn't know he's bought off me (naughty naughty).

Even though I'll be bike-less for at least another 6 months, I keep popping my head into the relevant forums (even if it is just to laugh at everyone who thinks yellow is the fastest colour...).
