Well, finally got the bike back although I've not had time to ride it far as it was pissing down earlier. But I spoke to the service guy and he said it turned out to be some shite at the bottom of the tank so they've replaced the fuel and changed the fuel filter and reckon that's fixed it, they said it took so long because they were convinced it was the ECU and were fault finding that. But I won't know for sure until I take it out for a proper ride. Fingers crossed.

Well, I've done 200 odd miles without a problem now so I'm fairly sure it's fixed. So nice to have my bike back again!

Great news, intermittent problems like that are a PITA to diagnose, there one minute.... gone the next. A good diagnositc technician is worth his/her weight in gold, prolly why bike shops cant afford em :smt001

Ok , just got back on mine and it's running better then ever.
It's had the Fuel pressure regulator replaced.
The ScottOiler vacuum pick up moved, apparently I had plumbed it into the Pressure Sensor pick up
the Spark plugs replaced and Throttle bodies balanced.
Took it for a blast on the way home and all was well until I got a punture during which the offending
bolt tore a chuck out of my CF hugger. :smt011
