Nooj,
Have you seen the diode trick to prevent the dash telltale passing residual current to the other indicators on the AF1 site?
Means taking the front off again, although you should be able to get to it by just taking the screen and dash cover off.
Here's the link If if recall correctly someone tried the fix without using an electronic flasher relay and it worked ok, it's in the thread somewhere.

I asked my tester (does that make me the testee?) about the reservoires and he said as long as he can see the levels he'll pass them
LEDs are difinitely where it's at, I thought I'd got them sussed, but then the Fazer is my test bed which obviously has more accomodating wiring. I'll follow the link and see what it says...right after I've put the washing out!!

respect mate
I am so glad I went for side blisters for the front.... LOL
hmmmm - funnily enough I have been looking at the resevoirs myself recently - I liked what you have done, but I have a different plan..... :)
and yes the HID was a squeeze, but oh my, how cool a difference it makes!
I have a sneaking suspicion that the national aprilia meet may well be dominated by some fairly radical falcos.... and, and this is the most important part - AT LEAST WE RIDE OURS!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
Yeah, it gets ridden. It's been across Europe and back twice and all over the UK. I just give it a wipe down with a bit of WD40 every now and again.
I have been touching up the paintwork on the fairing this week and getting rid of the oversprayed laquer with T-Cut which is why it looks so shiny in the pics.
That and I had it specially treated with ACF-50 earlier in the year by THIS guy. Didn't have to go anywhere and got it done for half price as we hosted one of his events in our back yard :D Book in and treat your bike.
I've had a look at the wiring diagram in the other post and it should be a doddle, I've got loads of spare LED bulbs I can rob diodes from. A most excellent link there.

Excellent. Did you just chuck in the diodes with the O/E flasher unit?
I'll need many virtual beers, although I can't calim anything on the diode front, but due to your LED tail light pioneering I've eventually done this.

And it's been a PIA (well not really just not been able to dedicate enough time to it) SO YOU OWE ME LARGE
any good remedies for soldering iron burns

Just viewed the above post and apologise for the poor quality phone camera pic. The square block is the stop/tail assembly. Rows 2 and 4 will be the tail lights, with the other rows lighting up for the brakes (all 5 lit). The slightly separated columns to the left are the indicators.
Just got to make the connections to the loom blocks paint and fit
PS Instead of using jumper wires to connect adjacent tracks on the Veroboard I just bridged with a blob of solder. OK? or likely to fail?
