Where the hell is the oil filter

. It is raining outside and I have to do a service on the daughters car. There is so much crap in the way, I cannot see the filter and I dont want to take everthing off that dont need to come off (especially while it is chucking it down)
Anyone know where i should be looking

Not so sure. The exhaust has a cover over it and the filter is a paper cartridge type similar to bikes. What engine is that.
Thanks for the pic BTW

depending on year it will more than likely have a paper filter, take the plastic cover off the top of the engine and look at the front right hand side,if it's paper it will have a black plastic caseing you will need a 32mm socket to undo it, then just lift the paper element out . a new seal for the lid comes with the filter. hope that helps.
