Bike knocked over
The driver picking up the skip from outside my house knocked the bike over yesterday. Damage seems to be the mirror which was knocked off and cracked the fairing in the process, and a scrape the the zorst.
So I've had a look on the net and taken prices of the Aprilia Yorkshire site. Total cost for parts, i.e front fairing, mirror, various parts to fit mirror and a new right hand side zorst comes to around £1100.
The skip company have asked me to get a quote from a dealer as they want to put it through their insurance.
Any suggestions of places close to woking (ideally who would be able to assess it at my home address) that could do me a quote?
Thanks,
Phill

unlucky , i know all about the bike falling over ,i have saved quite a bit on e bay with the new parts , a set of mirrors cost £35 a pair , front fairing just sold on e bay for £140 , levers £30 a pair , and clip ons £30each but are hard to find , , can i add that the frame that holds the clocks and mirrors and the nose cone inline is about £200+ although you can straighten this , make sure it in the valuation ,

I would invest in some crash bungs as well. I found my bike on the floor the other day - it's on the pavement so I think it was petty vandals. The crash bungs meant the only think I need to replace is the indicators. Although I also replaced the side stand as the sticky out bit broke off soon afterwards so was probably part of the same accident.
The cover also did a good job of preventing scratches to the exhaust and the bar ends.
