Hi Scorpio, nice to see another East Anglian owner on here.

I did the VTR stand mod but it wasn't totally straightforward. Not difficult either. Here is a link to my comments at the time over on the archived Aprilia Ridersite.....

Hi Fausto, thanks for sharing your side stand experience.

I see you live in Suffolk, where abouts? I live in Braintree which is veeery near Sudbuggery, being just over the Border. We have some astonishing roads round here, have you done the B184 yet? Gt Dunmow to Haverhill, via Finchingfield?
or even the "Burnam Bends". If not i would be pleased to give you the tour.

I'm in Woodbridge, just north of Shitswich ( sorry - Ipswich).

No I haven't really spent any time in the area you mention but will certainly come and have a look one day.

I do occasionally attend the Bently bike meet on Summer weds evenings although it's a dreadful ride there from here at a dreadful time of day ... 5 - 6 pm. Perhaps see you there one evening? I get the impression that it's far more fun approaching Bently from the south?

Look forward to meeting up. :smt006

Going to Shitswich tomorrow,Crane ltd. for a sales meeting. I know woodbridge quite well, I was in the RAF at Wattisham, before the ruskies gave up, and used to work with the septics on their A10s, no not the old leaky BSA type, although some would say not much differance there then :smt001

whats that about smoked rear light lenses? See your starting me on the rocky path of bankruptcy already you wicked lot :smt018

*sniggers*

Hawks, I tells ya... :smt002

There was a very exclusive run of smoked rear light lenses produced by a Site member.

I think they all sold out, although I may be incorrect and there may be one flying around the mists of the tinternet..

I know someone else was going to get some produced, but that appears not to have come to fruition..

Yes, I too believe they all sold out.

It was GregD UK who procured them - you could try him and see.

I saw one on fleabay once - no idea what it fetched.

As an interesting social experiment you could run a sort of reverse auction. There is a high concentration of clear/smoked rear lens owners on this site so make an offer of say £30 and keep increasing it until one of us bites :smt003

It may make for a very expensive bit of bling though. :smt017

Anyway, red lenses have an air of exclusivity these days.....

your welcome to come and have a butchers, to see what difference it makes.
