Will this fit my Fightalco?

Hi guys. I'm preparing for a big conversion of my Fightalco to Mille exhaust and swinger. I've got my exhaust headers, pipes, oil tank, bellypan, etc. I need to collect all the bits to do it all in one, that's including new paintwork. I'm still missing an exhaust hanger, Mille oil cooler with hoses (for now I hope the Falco one will fit with a bit of DIY hose-work).
Anyway... :smt003
Will this fit with Falco rear subframe with a Mille exhaust?

The short answer is NO

I had to have my exhaust hanger made up for me when I converted my Falco to the Mille system. The reason is that the Falco subframe runs at a lower angle than the Mille, so the std brackets for either bike won't fit.

However I reckon that bracket could be "adjusted" to fit, maybe shortened with another hole drilled in it. If the price is right I reckon it could work

The Falco oil cooler will work fine,as you say just a bit of hose work required, it's a lot easier if you can drop on a Mille one though (and neater, if you don't have a belly pan to hide everything)

If you look at your standard hanger its got a webbing shape similar to that on the back of it. I drilled/hacksawed/dremeled/filed mine out to get the hollow effect. Not as nice as that one you show although you could make a neater job than I did, but the price was the decider for me :smt002

I'm a dentist, I should be alright with drilling :D

@F9 where do you get high temp oil resistant hoses on this island?

Luckily all the hoses were included with my oil cooler purchase (thanks Treetops) but I'd try the breakers yards (Ken Urwin in Thorne isn't bad) I have friends who've sourced the original Aprilia oil lines from breakers for just a few quid.

I'm sure Pierre knows a few sources as well

Nah, Pierre just uses straws pinched from the pub, a bit of chemical metal and a clout with a big hammer. Normally sorts it! :smt002 :smt003 (sorry m8, couldn't resist)

Nah, he buys the stuff off ebay after the visiting the pub, then he uses the big hammer to force the the crap to fit!!!

ahhh, my life is so predictable. Mind you i dont pinch the straws, I'm usually grabbing at them

Its my new way of changing the rear shock.

Put bike on bench.
Jack bench up
Take weight with rachet straps on overhead beams
Let bench down a bit
Change shock
Release ratchet straps
Bang.


Insert *Lift bench up to take weight* somewhere in there cos I forgot. Never drink stella and twirl the tools :smt011

Anyway , BACK ON TOPIC, the exhaust hangers are on the bike in the background seb, top left of photo, yea just there :smt003
I could take a piccy unless youre dedicated to spending money on bling
