I have been at the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards at the Savoy Hotel in London today and he was there in that capacity. I wonder who was responsible for giving him that role, not a motorcyclist I bet?

No - the motorcycle idustry ie the people interested in floggin you bikes. Dont see why it matters, tbh. Kids simply ignore the law which is largely unenforced like most other minor regulations. And the industry still flogs tinted visors, illegal road exhausts, undersized plates - so it doesnt bother them either!TC wrote: I wonder who was responsible for giving him that role, not a motorcyclist I bet?
You are of course absolutely right in what you say, however, what does concern me is that as president of the MIA he can influence the type of bikes introduced to the UK or to be more specific the specification levels, for example speed restrictors fitted as standard, or BHP limits.lazarus wrote:No - the motorcycle idustry ie the people interested in floggin you bikes.
