Most BMW sellers will let you take a bike for the half day,m when I got my GS I went out for 5 hours.HowardQ wrote:As I said earlier, got to be worth a look, although personally I've always had a thing for the Tornado, but they both are very "different" and still Italian. Get on the blower and see if you can blag a decent test drive, an hour minimum, 2 plus would be nicer, and then make your mind up.
Tell 'em your local BMW dealer has offered you a whole afternoon test drive on a, (more expensive), K1200S.
Then if you've got that far, haggle like hell and get them down to a good enough price, so you can keep the Falco as well
Seriously, this is any dealer's quietest time of the year and you will be surprised how far you can push them on the test drive and the deal.
I have done absolutely ridiculous deals around Christmas on cars and bikes. It's now my favourite time to buy.
