Not sure where to post this, anyway got a few dings on the frame is it possible to polish them out if so how and can you do it with out a major tear down.

Depends were it is John you could end up with it looking much worse. The later painted frames may be easier to fill and match up with paint, otherwise what about a carefully applied decal

There appears to be a lot of laquer applied to the frame, and after mirror polishing the std swinging arm, I reckon it would be very difficult to do without the frame being on it's own so to speak

Its possible to polish them out as long as you don't try and level any dents.
However I was told when I had my Blackbirds frame polished that any pitting would remain and you can't laquer it as it'll peel after a few months.
Polishing also makes any dents more visible (light refraction).
