Great news you got everything sorted Dale, but what timing, how will you manage, sat on a beach in the sun on Christmas Day, beer in hand and a turkey on the barbie when you get home, how sad not being able to have a real Christmas.
Still if it gets too boring, you can always take the Falco off down for a blast down the nearest coast road, just to get to know the place.
How will you manage?
Seriously, it all sounds pretty good to me mate, hope everything works out as you planned and you have a great time.
All the best mate.

Morning FalcoPops and all,
Just to put a few things into perspective...
We'll definitely have to catch up for a beer and a chat when you get here, mate!
I'll warn the local Aprilia group that you're coming, and we'll see if we can put on a pizza night or something for you.

You can, you just have to look a lot harder for them.Gio wrote:Don't forget you can't get a decent pint in Oz.
Not this week - it was 14 degrees C and pissing rain on Wednesday. After being over 30C and blinding sunshine on Tuesday. Welcome to Melbourne, here's your combination sunglasses, winter coat, sun hat and umbrella.Fausto wrote:I expect you'll hate it there though as it's all hot and dry and sunny like. Glad you've got things sorted Dale - we'll miss you a bit over here - but as others have said, tinterwebbery net-thingy is a great thing and even I've managed to get it to work in Oz ... so we'll be expecting to hear about your amazing adventures in the land of Cell Block-H.
So I'll raise a glass of 6X to your new adventure - it's been good to know you - and will be good to hear about life in Oz. If I ever get over there again, I'll join you for a VB.

Yup I've gone, but not arrived.DavShill wrote:What's happening Dale? Have you gone yet
Had a few days in Disney in Orlando, then Christmas in Vero Beach, then nipped over to Honolulu for new year, typing in the shade right now.
Leaving tomorrow 3rd jan for Melbourne and start work on the 7th.
I'll try to contribute a bit more once I've got a place to call home.
Cheers
