So someone with some authority in Sussex Police fancied an Exige to hoon about in and then had to come up with some lame excuse that an Exige in police livery is going to attract the boy racers and, should any of them voluntarily chat to the police who happen to arrive in it, will forsake their ways of travelling at speed ... as you might in an Exige.

It's got low rims and valance = fekkin' useless as a cop car.

So they'll stick higher profiled tyres on it.. to clear kerbs, etc

Then it'll keep falling off the road like that Cossie Escort cop car did..

And why so slow? The big Vauxhall Senators were faster.
