Just been looking at these on fleabay...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=010
Listing says they only fit up to 2002 bikes - anybody know what the difference is because I thought they were all the same

Not sure about paint but Idid think about the brushed effect - just don't want to try it and end up making a mess of a brand new pair of cans. Probably end up doing something like that though because carbon or titanium cans cost so much more.Pierre wrote:Shirley you can paint them? And don't call me Shirley

You won't get em cheap if you keep alerting everyone to em you know
Bear in mind the ad isn't a good one, so theres probably less watchers, also the last couple of hours will show if anyone else is interested in em
I never bid on anything until the last 30 secs or so, as I can't figure why I should alert everyone to the fact I could be interested? So I think there's a bit of confusion (the ad isn't very accurate) and there are potential bidders who will come in at the death (so to speak)
Keep your powder dry and have a last gasp bid, That way if your best price doesn't win you don't get dragged into bidding more than you wanted to pay
Here endeth my eBay bidding thoughts (sorry, just can't understand people who bid with 9 days to go that's all)

Yeah, my thought exactly on the whole ebay thing and generally I would usually keep it as quiet as possible however i can't believe that no-one's even put the opening bid in yet.Falco9 wrote:You won't get em cheap if you keep alerting everyone to em you know![]()

Just got visions of buying what i think of a bargain then when I come here to gloat to evryone about it seeing a new post entitled "Look what this silly twonk bought off fleabay..."

Dont worry, that markets already cornered :)"Look what this silly twonk bought off fleabay..."
Just dont do the usual spur-of-the-moment thing and bid more than they are worth, or what you can get the fuel/beowulf cans for cos at the end of the day theyre only tubes of stainless with baffles inside.
Maybe they only fit honda falcos

Kerching!
Got back from along weekend away to find that by some miracle the high bid I put in before I went away was more than enough. Won them for the princely sum of 156 squid plus a tenner postage. Just waiting for them to turn up and we'll see how good they are.

Don't understand all the comments on there about up to 2002 models only
Beats me. Unless they changed the design of the collector, maybe changed the bore of the collector outlets, but i cant remember Jorge ever mentioning it at Renegade. I know the collector changed on the RSV when they brought the Factory out, but the engine was fettled then too.Cant remember a change to the Falco? Be interesting to find out. Maybe he's just covering his bases as he only had a pre 2002 model or something.
