Ipod compatability
If we bought a Nano in the USA and some speakers and brought them back here to use with our laptop and just bought a travel adapter plug thingy would it all work sound enough?
Thanks shit bags.

He is alive - yes he is and he has nice underwear.
Ah Batmeister General! Good to see you.
Of course it wouldnt. The lack of straight roads and abundance of roundabouts would confuse it. It would die from shock.
The correct answer is......possibly... My good friend bought a Yank one in Afghanistan from a French Canadian (No..Really)
He has complained of nothing since being back in UK so can only assume it to be fine. He probably charges it by USB or summat
HOWEVER
I bought a Nintendo DS thingy (with yank 2 pin charger) and it said Input AC100v on the back of the adaptor, hence I had to buy an invertor to use it in UK (cheap at maplins though)
My honest opinion would be check the adaptor (power supply) if it says AC100v, you'll need an invertor (20 quid or so) if it says Input AC100 -230V then you'll just need the plug bit
Hope that helps..

Anything that isnt dual voltage will not work in the UK without an invertor.
The Ipod will work as that plugs into your PC/Laptop and charges from there. If you wnat/need an additional charging unit, get the one form Dixons...oh hang on Currys digital now, made by Logik. Works a treat. As for the speakers, the dual voltage thing comes into play there im affraid.
USofA = 110v
UK = 240v
Hope this helps.

Jeremy Clarkson, thats all, the Ipod king. I think he's under contract to Sony to mention it at least once every show, (who says the BBC don't accept advertising).Viney wrote:Is that meant to be funny? I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
