Ride to Work Day 2007

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Sun Jul 08, 2007 6:04 pm

Ride to Work Day takes place on 18th July 2007, it is a day for all bike and scooter users to get out and about on their bikes and ride to work, ideally with a pillion.

Getting Active

The MCI produced an event pack to get people active and do something that will generate beneficial media coverage about life on two wheels. Organised ride-outs, a breakfast or BBQ, a charity event or an open day were just a few of the suggestions.

Anyone who rides or is interested in bikes and scooters could join in during National Motorcycle Week.; dealers, friends, cafes, shops, event organisers are just a few.

Again I'm really glad I don't have to mix it with the average arsehole on our roads.

The average person shouldnt be allowed to ride to work?

Why ever not! Theyve passed their test, got the gear, the insurance and the bikes...

:smt017 Are you saying we should all hang up our leathers and use a Bus?

No I'm not, but I do wonder about some riders and their riding methods (No I'm not perfect either, which is why I've hung up mine)
