Vespa

Hello, I am new to riding and recently passed my CBT. I am taking my DAS in July. My ambition is only to own a Vespa scooter. It’s been a dream for many years so decided to make it happen. Any advice on which one at the moment? I am drawn to the GTS Super 125 although not cheap. After passing my DAS I would upgrade to a 300cc version. I could therefore only need the 125 for a few months to get into practice. Thoughts welcome. Many thanks. Max

If you're new to riding I'd suggest buying something secondhand and relatively cheap intially, so you can make your mistakes on that. Even a low speed drop, such as when pushing or parking the scooter, could cause a fair bit of damage to a new machine and be very annoying. If it's something older and that already has a few battle scars it will be much less of a concern.

Good luck with whatever you choose. :smt023
