Anyone know what a V990RO engine is from?
I've seen one for sale, it's a gen 2 NG engine but I can't seem to find any reference to it. I asked on the AF1 website but had no response as of yet.

Sorry - I don't know.
I'd be asking Griff at Aprilia Performance.

OK .... tonight I was chatting with Griff and mentioned this to him.
He hasn't heard of it either.
Are we sure it's not a typo or the RO being shorthand for "Rotax".
Do you have any links, pics or further info?

Had a reply from Griff - He says the markings have been changed (I wondered this too) and looks very dodgy.
Barge-pole not long enough to touch it.

Cheers for the response and taking the time to ask Griff.
It did look a bit odd but the fact it was being offered with two sets of 57mm throttle bodies was a bit enticing. If I hadn't just bought some I would have been even more tempted!
Still tempted by an engine swap to a gen 2 though.......
