Went for a blast this morning, got home, went to put the bike in the garage and hit the kill switch by accident while trying to press the remote with gloves on.
When I tried to re-start the bike it turned over briefly and then everything went dead, dash lights included.
After some investigation this afternoon it seems the battery is knackered but I've never seen one go so quickly. It won't even light a bulb!
I called into a mates briefly 5 minutes before I got home and it started as usual.
Anyone else experienced this? I'm going to have a good look at the charging circuit before I risk cooking another battery.

Batteries struggle to turn over the motor when it is hot.
But it could be a sign that the battery is foo barred.
Also check the leads and terminals? Salt does cause havoc with the contactor on the starter motor.
Clean all the contacts, and put a bit of EP2 Grease on the contacts to stop water ingress.
Tolerance will be our undoing.
