To The Fallen

#1 Post by Willopotomas » Mon Mar 27, 2017 9:38 pm

Please join me in raising a glass or six to several people I consider friends and allies who're no longer with us. So far this year, I've attended a funeral for each month.

On Wednesday we bury a former club member and in the not too distant future we'll be saying our farewells to another top bloke who was tragically killed yesterday near Jacks Cafe on the A5 in Towcester. The woman whom pulled into his path was also declared dead at the scene. Two families, with one thing in common. Such a waste of life.

Please people, take care while out on the roads. Eyes everywhere at all times. Never be complacent. Never second guess. And above all, never assume you know the intentions of other road users.

I'll be in the corner remembering those I'll never speak to again. :smt090

Glass duly raised - I too have a few I'll always remember!

I'll raise a glass on that Will. I only met the guy once but he came across as a top bloke.

Sorry to hear this Will.

I hope you and other friends and their families have many good memories.

I'll raise a glass to that. At least the memories will live on.

Without being disrespectful I hate these announcements, reminds me of the friends and relatives that I love and miss, if I joined in a drink I'd get blinded :smt012

Sorry
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
