...if the Falco footpegs are the same fitting/size as an R1? I ask as I saw these and thought, hmm, non-slip!

Impossible to tell without being able to compare/measure. ( unless you have tried)
For that price I'd buy them and make them fit :smt002

I'd wonder what they would look like after a year of british weather on them :smt103

I would also seriously be troubled by this "Free Shipping to United Kingdom via China Post Registered Air Mail", but then I'd not trust anything that cam that way.

Dunno about the weather bit but the postage is fine. Have used Ali Express quite a few times now (including for two sets of handguards) and they're very reliable

and cheap

really cheap!

Though we do get forum discount on them directly from Hel .... certainly worth having.

You say that...

Ok, I picked the more expensive ones as an example but it is amazing (see: shocking!) how many items are made in China and branded for sale in the West at a vast profit

Buy Wezmoto instead of HEL, as they are the same lines under licence.

I believe Wezmoto actually make HEL lines for the UK market now.

Tried it earlier, sadly they don't do Blackbird lines on ebay.
I'll be going the delink route to fit braided as its about £200 cheaper than the linked system. Just need to find the time to get onto it.

Anyway, back on track...
that is not a lot of money to gamble, you can overspend more than that in the supermarket in the blink of an eye.
I still have my 'Far Eastern' produced shorty levers on my bike, still looking mint after 4 years
