I could not stop myself laughing at this. Can you believe the ignorance and stupidity of the man? Shame he was not reported and made an example of.

Link takes me to a page about new cars and events?

Stretches of the M1 are now smart motorways with four lanes.

The middle lane hoggers have now moved out to the third lane of a four lane motorway? I see this quite often.

Sometimes I have to work sundays, and my van is limited to 65 mph?

There will be very few cars out that early on sundays, I see no point in moving out four lanes to overtake when the first two are clear? I am sure Mr plod wouldn't see it that way.

Lane hoggers used to annoy me, especially when I am towing and they won't move out of the middle lane, and I am not allowed in the third lane?

They are usually doing half a mile an hour faster than the lorries on the inside lane.
Tolerance will be our undoing.

There's nothing wrong with that provided you're not causing other traffic to change course or speed.

Another example of worsening driving standards, selfishness, ignorance and sheer bloody stupidity.
How the hell can anyone use the road safely if they have their head stuck up their own arse???
This is a clear need for re education, similar to speed awareness courses, this driver is clearly not aware of anything other than his own importance

I'll happily admit to 'undertaking' these twonks when I come across them.

In the presence of a traffic copper in this scenario, who is most likely going to be pulled over? That's why I never have any issue doing it.

If it is a proper traffic cop, it should not be you that gets a pull but the lane hogger as they are the one committing the offence. You cannot be booked for an offence that does not exist, and as I have said many times, the ony offence open to them in tertms of undertaking is to book for careless driving, and the act of undertaking is on its own insufficient to secure a conviction.

“Sir, this poster is just for you and we’ll tell the officer in question to keep up the good work.”????

They should stop flashing them to move and blue light them to send a message to the other 59million people in the UK doing this. Until they commit to zero tolerance and start making serious examples of people driving like this, then this problem isn't going to get any better. The motorways will just become more and more accident prone as everyone forms and orderly queue in lanes 3 and 4 and they're all too important to drive in "the lorry lane".

Personally, I wouldn't be against stringing them up to the gantry, by their toes, above the lane they were driving in to warn other drivers (maybe the dripping tears would make them drive in the left hand lanes).

Welcome to Australia, where people don't know left from right and drive at whatever speed they feel like in whatever lane they feel like. Bloody frustrating when you get three retards line-abreast going 10 under the speed limit and not one of them will move over to let the faster traffic past.
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.
