Alright gents!
Just a quickie to say Hi having just bought my first Italian bike - and it's a Falco!
I've had a bit of a horn for one these for years but ended up with a GSXR750K5 instead. 6 years later the Suzy was reluctantly replaced by an FJR cos the Mrs wanted to come out on the back of the bike. But she didn't and the f*cker broke down three times on this year's trip to Mugello so it got sold last week and part of the proceeds were invested in a 2000 SL1000. It's not been ridden yet, other than to drive it into the garage but it seems ok for the money I spent.. The balance of the FJR return will be thrown into the money pit also known as an RG500.
Anyhoo, this looks like a great forum - maybe see you later!
Greg

Hi skipper and welcome lots of info and ways to spend that left over money
If it's the original Sidestrand and shock get rid of them
Get a chip and a 15t front sprocket
Some non standard exhausts a clutch jet change and then you can start on the being!
Fantastic bikes and apart from the side stand the above are general recommendations

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Hi Greg, welcome.
I doubt you'll be disapointed with the Falco as given a little TLC, it should be an excellent all rounder. Capable of racking up the miles on tour or the daily commute and mixing with the fast boys at a trackday.
Pictures please so we can see what you have and what you'll need...
