Claim sorted drinks all round

#1 Post by nicketynoo » Sat May 21, 2016 9:02 pm

Finally got my claim sorted by Lincs council for my wheels which I damaged after riding through a huge pothole. Though theyre not admitting liability they've agreed to pay £1775.29 into my bank account .Sounds like they're guilt ridden to me.
anyway I'm at the bar now so get one in while I'm feeling generous :smt003

Or occasionally pee on yourself.

In the circumstances I'm sure you can forgive them!

Erm - have they fixed said pothole yet?

Just a drop of red for me please!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Yes the pothole was filled the same day I played around in it. Which is a good job because it was a serious danger considering its position .

Interesting strategy ... the ratepayers of Lincolnshire will be wanting to know why their Council is handing over large cheques for thing for which they think they are not liable ....

Anyway, very glad you've been recompensed for the damage :smt001

Im glad you got it sorted.
If they do not accept liability then why did they repair the road surface and compensate you for damage for which they are not liable?

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
