Wise words on oil... well general advice will do

Ok Ok ... this has no doubt been done to death but can anyone reccommend the best oil for a Falco? I've been trying to get hold of 15 W 50 as specified in the Aprilia handbook, but, hardley anybody sells it, and bike dealers have told me that they stick 10 W 40 in Aprilias anyway.
If 10 weight is OK, no problem, but I would prefer to stick to 15 weight.
Any favourite brands? Oil that is)

10w 40 is a no no, putaline do a 15w 50 it's syntec 4 and as anti slip properties so no problems with the clutch. i've used it for 2yrs now and quite happy.

Ive just put in some Silkolene Fuchs 15/50 and so far, (bout a hundred miles), so good. No clutch slip to report.
